Thank you.The anti-choice ballot measures in Colorado, South Dakota, and California went down. As of this entry, however, Prop 8 in California and 102 in Arizona are winning. Ack! I'm hoping against hope that when all the dust settles these measures will also go down.

Watched the returns at our lesbian friends' restaurant. They have been together for 20 years. It was a bitter sweet evening. They are from Chicago and watched joyfully when Obama took the stage, knowing, though, that Prop 8 was not defeated.
I am in a state of shock about all three of the anti-gay measures that passed. Disgusted, really. What the hell is wrong with people?
