Green Halloween

From Terra Pass:
Americans spend a spine-tingling $5 billion dollars annually on Halloween decorations and supplies. Cheap Halloween costumes are often worn only once and end up in a landfill sooner or later. Recycling your own clothes and materials is a great way to save money and prevent waste.
What to do? Make your own costumes from recycled stuff (like we did when I was a kid way before green was the new black), compost your pumpkins, and, next year, grow your own. If you're really into it, you can even make an "eco-house of horrors" with some soy wax candles and cereal box gravestones. Spooky!
