Convinced

I have never been more convinced about the need for a concentrated and significant get out the vote effort than I am after Sarah Palin's speech. Wow. She is good; a lying hypocrite, but good. The ground game is critical now - even more so than before - because GOTV efforts are going to win or lose this election.

We will never convince Republicans to vote for Obama/Biden; truth, justice, compassion, and reason are just not part of their moral framework. Indeed, as candidate for Governor, Palin listed her top three ways to help families as: school choice (vouchers), banning gay marriage, and gun rights. Seriously. I'm not kidding. I couldn't make that shit up if I tried.

They have a new darling, or, as Kagro X over at Daily Kos noted, their "Gingrich in pearls."

What to do? Same as always, only this time it's more urgent and we have two months to do it. We need to get every Democrat and a whole slew of undecideds to vote for the Obama/Biden ticket. This is critical. The time is now. There is no time to waste. Here you go:

First, register to vote. Second, get out the vote. Third, vote. Fourth, make sure everyone you know is doing 1 ,2, and 3.
